I don’t usually take my SLR mountaineering, but Saturday’s forecast was cold and dry with very little wind so I thought it would be worth the effort. I’m glad I did.
The picture was shot just below the summit of Meall nan Tarmachan. The next peak on the ridge, Meall Garbh, is on the right. The two big snow-covered mountains behind it are Ben More and Stob Binnien.

Nice pic – it was a great weekend for photos. My brother and I were on Meall a’ Bhuiridh and Creise the following day – think we spent more time taking photos than walking!
