It took me a while to process this, mainly because it was a tad over-exposed. I like the square crop, but I think it might be a bit too contrasty. What do you think?

I really like this one, Christopher. I particularly like the square crop and the way the wisps of smoke contrast with the crisp lines of the leather jacket. I also like the way the man’s wrinkles are mirrored in the folds of the jacket and how the haphazard array of lines become accentuated by the regular rib of his hat.
In other words, for me it’s a photo about contrast, rather than being ‘too contrasty’ in itself, if you know what I mean!
