Why on earth did I leave it so long before visiting Skye? Not sure how that happened.
Still, I’ve been now, and managed to time my first trip during four days of uninterrupted sunshine.
I was there to help with the filming of a new BBC Four documentary on the Munros, and to take some behind the scenes pictures. So there’ll be plenty more shots to come.
I can’t wait to go back – I’m already hatching plans for a traverse of the Cuillin ridge.
